Sunday Night Procession-Antigua

On selected Sunday's there is a procession through town and along the procession route houses will create elaborate 'alfombras' on the ground made from flowers, colored sawdust, and other offerings.

Families had brought out dinner tables to eat and chat with passers about their alfombra.

Sugar Cane Juice

This machine was stamped Buffalo NY.1895, and had definitely seen some use. The ribs in the four side pillars and the crowns cast into the nuts on the tops of them were great details.
Powered by Brian and Jason...

The mother/daughter owners feeding the raw cane through the machine.

The Project from Beginning to End

Wrought Iron Screens

I designed these screens about three weeks ago and it was
great to see them finally installed on the site.

La Fuente

Dinah sitting on the flatwork form, helping chisel out a path for the water spout plumbing.

The rough concrete after we pulled the plywood formwork off.

This was the form-work for the runnel that we pre-cast and then placed on the cast-in-place concrete portion of the fuente shown below.

Just finished the concrete skimcoating and ready for the runnel.

With the runnel was installed and the paint/waterproofing almost finished.

With the terra cotta spout installed and the plants in the bog garden in the back.

Off and running.
